A number of gamblers and even dealers think that a dealer can actually make the ball land in a particular part of the wheel by controlling how the roulette wheel is turned. There is no prove for this fallacy, but there are elements that affect the wheels turn, including friction, air pressure and motion, wheel balance, among others.
